I am so sorry that I haven't already posted my answers to the discussion questions for the book but I have been really busy. I miss all of you guys and hate that I missed the meeting. I would also like to welcome McKenna to our group, I can't wait to meet you. For those of you interested in Twilight I am reading new moon (the second book) and it is really good. I have been told that the last two books are even better!!
1. I think that Claire is certainly lured to Lillian's because she can feel like an individual, seperate from her children and husband.
2. I think Lillian's upbringing makes her who she is.
3. I think the author did this to keep the focus of the story on Lillian's cooking.
4. Because she wants them to cook and discover themselves not follow a certain recipe, there is no recipe for life.
5. I think she did the right thing and I think they are closer because of it.

7. That all that matters is how you live your life and how you treat the people around you.
8. I think it is not about eating enough so you don't notice but I do think a lot of emphasis is put on eating as a social event.
9. I think he means that we should all be support for people in our lives, whether this means pulling them up as a ladder or giving them a chair when they fall.
10. I associate a lot of kitchens or places to eat with certain events in my life.
